Alexis and Tag Feisty, self-proclaimed "diva" Alexis Lundgren began riding horses at age seven.  She began riding Saddlebreds at age eight under the instruction of Mary Lynn Treis Stables in Grafton, WI.  After the purchase of her first show horse, Penny's Moonlight Bay, Alexis made the move to Joan and Grant Hermann's in Waukesha. Alexis showed "Archie" for about two years.  One of her favorite memories came at the age of thirteen when she won a class at the 1995 National Pleasure show with Archie. After Archie, My Red Ferrari was Alexis' next mount.  After a year of "Veronica", the game gaited mare Hollywood Insider was purchased. This pair teamed up to win the Junior Exhibitor Five-Gaited Championship at Madison Classic in 1999 under the direction of Hermann Stables. This is another favorite memory for Alexis because of the spotlight shone on the winners at this show during the victory pass.  After moving to HHF in November 1999, "Nelle" was sold to Terri Anne Ullman and the dynamic gaited horse Be My Skywatch was purchased.  "Tag" and Alexis teamed up to wins or reserves in 2000 at shows such as ASAW, Madison Classic, Tanbark and the American Royal.  They began 2001 by winning the qualifier at International Springfest and a strong reserve in the Championship.

When asked about her goals in the horse business Alexis states, "My goals in the horses business are simple: to better myself as a rider and have as much fun doing so as possible!! I love working with both Andy and Lynda and look forward very much to my many upcoming shows with "Tag".   Sadly, I will not be able to continue riding Saddlebreds in college although I hope I may be able to join the Wellesley Equestrian Team next year and ride for fun and possibly show in entry level hunting, jumping or dressage.  With some luck, I will be able to buy a horse after I'm done with school and pick up showing again."  Alexis has set big goals for herself and with her outgoing personality, there is no doubt she will achieve them!
