Linda Anderson Meyer

Linda grew up in Plainfield, IL.  She didn't ride horses at the time, but chose instead to be a competitive swimmer.  She did, however, work for Bonnie Byrne's mother during the summer months as a groom at horse shows.

Linda graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in graphic design.  She also met her future husband, Blair, while at Iowa State.  After they were married, they lived in Illinois for 6 1/2 years until they moved to their present home in Wisconsin. That move was determined by their desire to be closer to their family's horses which were stabled with Bonnie Byrne in Oconomowoc.  Linda and Blair own a "hobby farm" where they keep their two horses; a miniature horse named "Mindy" and an American Saddlebred named Amberwood's Show Time (coincidentally bred and raised by two other customers of HHF, Charlie and Sue Edwards).  The Meyers also have two schnauzers named "Harry" and "Ren".

For eight years, Linda has owned her own graphic design company, Image Casters Studios, which she runs out of her home where she is also quite busy with her two young children.  Linda's company designs all types of printed materials ranging from logos to catalogues.  Blair works for Airgas, a company which designs safety products, where he is the Marketing Manager.
Linda and daughter, Brianna

Linda began riding 11 years ago.  She took lessons from various instructors, but was a customer of Bonnie Byrne's, where she and her parents had their horses trained.  Linda showed two saddlebreds, Meadowview's Dream Awhile and CH Image Caster.  Linda rode Dream Awhile in 3-Gaited Show Pleasure and her mother, Nancy, would show him in pleasure driving.   Whoever did the best in the qualifier would go on to show him back in their championship!   Linda showed CH Image Caster in Park and Full Mane and Tail classes.  After a 3 year break, Linda is now showing her parents' beautiful black gleding, Hakeem The Dream in Adult 3-Gaited Show Pleasure.
